Gissy's U-Pic is a small, family-run Blueberry, Peach, Nectarine Farm and Nursery. Located at very end of N Citrus ave(11651) Crystal River, halfway between CR and Dunnellon. We grow healthy, delicious Fruit for seasonal U-Pick in May and June. We’ve nearly completed a polebarn Farm Store in front, which will give customers a welcomed AC relief come early summer, and also a better display of the Homemade Jams, Local Honeys, ect that have been available.

The owner Don has an extensive background in Florida farming, going back to a summer job in 7th grade at a produce farm and stand, working 10hrs a day 7 days a week for $1/hr…lol… Later spent several years tending to his and some family’s orange groves in Lake Co. and in the early 2000’s moved to Crystal River. He started two similar farms in Crystal River which he later sold and this is his newest(and last,lol)…also has had his Fl. Nurserymans License going back to the mid1990’s…

We also have a 1/2acre nursery where you can purchase your own plants to start an orchard of your own. Plants available include but not limited to:

Various Blueberry, Peach, Nectarine, Blackberry, Apple, Citrus, Pear, and Plum ect. varieties…
